So, I have been a slacker with this blog lately. Sorry. I have had some success and some set backs lately. I was down to 273 the other day. It was great. But this morning after all the munching at the BBQ for fathers day and the slack in my workouts I gained back 5 lbs. I went for a 3 mile jog this morning. It wasn't a long run, but my speed and endurance is so much better than when I started. I felt great. I did the run in 35 minutes. It was fun. So I decided that I need to get more resistance training in, so I am going to start the p90x videos again with my running schedule. It will be tough, and I will keep you updated on how it's going.

Sorry about the absence, life is hectic. So I weighed in this morning and I was down 4 pounds! It was a good feeling, got to keep it up. I do attribute it to the 4 hours of throwing sandbags to stop the flooding though. That was a hell of a workout.

So it's been a hectic last couple of days. But I did get a good run in the other day and I have been eating decently. I haven't lost much on the scale still, but it has stayed consistently low. Well, today is a running day, and I am dreading it already. Just got to push myself out the door.

So today was a tough one getting out of bed and working out. No motivation, but I did force a 30 minute run on the eliptical. I feel good about getting it done for the day. My weight was still the same as the other day, but at least it didn't go up. Think on the bright side right.

So I just got home from the station. I had two really good workouts, one yesterday and one today before I left for home. I feel great. I weighed myself today and I am down 6 pounds from Tuesday, That would be great if I hadn't gained 7 pounds during my vacation in Moab. Oh well at least I am going the right way on the scale.
